Construction of Central Solar Panels project | Sanniriya Village Council

The “Central Solar Panel System Project – Sanerya” is a strategic initiative under the Subgrant Program aimed at implementing social and economic development projects in the so-called Area “C.” The project benefits approximately 4,000 residents of Sanerya, with 45% of the population living in Area “C” and more than 55% belonging to marginalized groups, including women, youth, and children. It addresses the community’s need for sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions while supporting local economic growth.

  1. Central Solar Panel System: Installation of a 50 kW/hour central solar system.
  2. Clean Energy Production: Generation of 7,650 kWh of clean energy monthly, replacing more than 18% of the village’s total monthly energy consumption with renewable energy.
  • Expected Outcomes
  1. 13% increase in local governance revenues projected in the council’s 2024 budget after project implementation.
  2. Creation of 20 new job opportunities, prioritizing local and marginalized groups.
  3. 18% reduction in total electricity costs for the Local Government Unit (LGU).
